Another Canadian Politician Supporting State-Run Healthcare Heads South for Medical Treatment

So Newfoundland Premier Danny Williams is heading south to the United States for heart surgery at a private health institution. Following Belinda Stronach and Jean Chretien, Danny Williams is the latest in a line of Canadian politicians who support the state-run monopoly in health care except when it comes to their own health care. This reminds me of politicians who also support a state-run monopoly on primary education but send their own children to private schools. When are Canadian socialists going to realize that individuals should be allowed to make their own choices on health care and education instead of being forced into the cookie-cutter model of the nanny state?
