Apple's New iPad: Media Hype or Revolutionary Technology?

The technology guru and Apple founder and CEO Steve Jobs has made another impressive piece of technology with the Apple iPad. In the media reporting surrounding Apple's Tablet device, the iPAD has been described as having the potential to revolutionise communication. But despite all the media hype, is it really much better than existing e-reader devices such as Amazon's Kindle? At least one columnist doesn't think so. While the iPAD has more features than allowing books to be read, the i-Book application is really the main feature that distinguishes it from the iPod Touch.
